Do I need to buy new hardware?
No. Alio runs in the web browser on an iPad, Android tablet or any computer. If you want receipts or a cash drawer, it works with common Star and Epson printers.
Do I have to change my card terminal?
No. Keep the terminal and processor you have. Alio records each payment (card, cash, gift card, tip) so your reports and payroll are right — we never touch or take a cut of your money.
What if the internet goes down?
Check-ins and checkouts keep working and sync automatically when the connection comes back.
Can my techs see the sales?
Only if you let them. Settings, payroll and reports are behind your owner PIN, and today's sales stay hidden on the front screen until you tap to show them.
How long does setup take?
Most salons are running the same day. Snap a photo of your price list and Alio adds your services for you, then add your techs and you're ready.
